When you step out to the Inari Station (JR line),
Fushimi-world is just out there!
「Fushimiinari-jinjya is the headquarter of 40,000 Inari-jinjyas, and famous for the good luck of money. There are thousands of toriis standing along the way up to the top of this shrine, which is about 4kms distance and 230 meters above the sea. Yes, 4kms walking, 4 kilo meters… 」

Fushimiinari Station, JR Nara line, was so crowded with people who seemed to have come to pray for one's business flourished. By the way, there's another Fushimiinari Station (Keihan line) near here.

A faraway look of me dreaming of becoming fabulously rich, live in a mansion and drink wine looking out the wonderful night view. It might come true, because I'm here to pray for that.
10:30
Heaps of stone images of fox !! Innumerable!! The one at the entrance seemed to be most dignified. Look at its back! So straight! Self-confident, hum?
10:45
Omikuji. I got Suekichi. Hum, not so bad, not so good. Anyway it says, "the person you wait for will come". But it's Sakaguchi Kenji, the son of the actor Sakaguchi Seiji. Will he really come ???
10:55
I've been fine walking so far for a few minutes. Thank goodness I wasn't wearing boots as usual!
11:15
A few pieces of deep fried tofu !! I've never seen this kind of offering before. They were very small, so foxes would be delighted.
11:30
A lady fox. No reason. Just seems like it.
11:45
There is sometimes an different type of image from fox.
12:10
Fox, again. Embarrassing posture…
12:25
A horse.
12:30
So exhausted through lack of exercise. Sigh, can't see the top yet. Am I walking down same distance? At this point, my knees were shaking and I felt like my throat was breeding (with tears).
12:40
There must be some foxes who hate coldness. This is one of them shouting, "Damn the cold!" Can't you hear that?
13:00
I had Zenzai at a cafe on the way down. Its sweetness gave me some power. And so did a beautiful scenery.
13:20
Are you wearing socks, fox? This one is proudly saying, "I am wearing socks!" Can't you hear that?
14:00
Souvenir shops. It was very difficult to understand when I found my friend was buying an ornament of torii for souvenir. Torii for interior??? Not bad, but.., anyway, what I bought was…
14:20
Ding-dong! "Fox-chan!" It's rice crackers, miso flavored, 400-yen. By the way, its face is very small, isn't it? Or is mine too big?
