■Potalaka　ポタラカ
Potalaka is organaized by percussionist Kei Wada and dancer Tetsuro Koyano.
Applying Balinese masked dance, they plays comedies. Based on a tradition, they create new perception of a drama. Their style is highly admired by many audiences.

パーカッショニスト和田啓とバリ舞踊家小谷野哲郎を中心として1997年に結成される。
バリの仮面舞踊のスタイルを取り入れたオリジナル喜劇作品を次々と発表、伝統に根ざしながらも新たな表現を追求し、多くの人々の支持を得ている。

■Choplin (Cokorda Istri Putri Rukmini)　チョップリン
Choplin, as one of the dancer’s family, born in Singapadu is the central of Bali island where famous dancers appears in 1971. Since childhood, her dancer’s ability is praised. She appears big stage in a short time. Also, she plays in abroad and wins prizes.
She graduates STSI Denpasar as dean’s honor in 1996. Now, she belongs art division in Bali government. Choplin is the one of the most important Balinese dancers.
　1971年生まれ。多くの有名舞踊家を輩出していることで有名なバリ島中部シンガパドゥ村で舞踊家の家系に生まれる。幼少の頃から早くも頭角をあらわし、各地で舞踊公演に招聘される。海外公演や舞踊フェスティバル等での授賞経歴も多数。1996年インドネシア高等芸術学院(STSI)デンパサール校を主席で卒業後、現在はバリ州政府文化部芸術担当。最近では1997年に世界的に有名なガムラングループ「ティルタ・サリ」と共に来日し、絶賛されたのが記憶に新しい。現在バリで最も活躍し、内外で注目されている女性舞踊家の1人である。
